This Privacy Notice explains how ATAAD (referred to as “ATAAD”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal information when you use this website, contact us or submit a capability briefing or request-for-quotation enquiry. It is a website-facing notice and does not describe classified, operationally restricted or employee-data processing.
Information covered by this notice
We may receive the information that you choose to provide, including your name, organisation, work email address, country, optional telephone number, enquiry type, selected capability or product route and the non-sensitive message that you submit. Please do not include classified, export-controlled or operationally sensitive information.
The website and its hosting providers may also process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, requested pages, timestamps, referral information and security events. Non-essential analytics or marketing technologies must not be enabled unless the applicable consent and disclosure controls are in place.
How information is obtained
Information is obtained directly from you when you submit a form or contact ATAAD, and automatically from the systems that deliver and secure the website. If you provide information about another person, you should be authorised to do so and should direct that person to this notice.
Purposes and lawful basis
We use the information to qualify and route enquiries, respond to requests, maintain correspondence, protect the website, prevent misuse, comply with applicable legal obligations and establish or defend legal rights. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request, for ATAAD’s legitimate operational and security interests, to comply with a legal obligation, or on the basis of consent where consent is required. Consent may be withdrawn for future processing, but withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it was withdrawn.
Sharing and service providers
Access is limited to authorised ATAAD personnel and service providers who need the information for website operation, secure hosting, email delivery, technical support or enquiry management. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, a competent authority or a valid legal process, or where necessary to protect rights, security and integrity. We do not authorise service providers to use submitted information for their own advertising.
International handling
Website and communication suppliers may process information in more than one country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the relevant transfer mechanism and supplier controls must be reviewed before production use.
Retention
Capability briefing and RFQ submissions stored by this WordPress site are configured for deletion after 30 days. A message may remain for a different period in authorised business correspondence where it is needed to handle an active enquiry, meet a legal or record-keeping obligation, resolve a dispute or protect security. Technical logs are retained only for the period justified by their operational and security purpose.
Security and restricted information
ATAAD applies proportionate organisational and technical measures intended to protect website information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. This public form is not an approved channel for classified, export-controlled or operationally sensitive material. If a protected exchange is required, an authorised ATAAD representative must establish the appropriate controlled channel separately.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law and your relationship with ATAAD, you may be entitled to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent, and may have the right to raise a concern with a competent data-protection authority. We may need to verify identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it. Marketing communications, if introduced, must provide an appropriate opt-out.
Children
This website is intended for professional and institutional audiences and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information about a child through the capability briefing form.
Changes to this notice
The approved production notice should show its effective date and material revisions. A later version will apply only after the required internal and legal review has been completed.
